Sail Melbourne Charters operates from Marina YE in Southbank but we can pick up and drop at a range of points around Docklands, the Yarra River, Williamstown or Port Melbourne. In terms of destinations, we can operate all around Port Phillip from Melbourne to Geelong to Blairgowrie. We can fit in with your requirements.
Sail Melbourne Charters operates a Catalina 320 Mk II, Solitaire. Solitaire can accommodate a maximum of nine passengers and two crew.
We are realistic about Melbourne’s weather. If a charter cannot proceed due to bad weather (either because you don’t like the look of the weather or we don’t like to look of it from a safety perspective) the charter will be either postponed to another day or cancelled with a full refund at your option. The most important thing for us is for you to enjoy your sailing experience. We are happy to postpone to another day (often we can postpone to the following day) or if no other day can work for you, will cheerfully refund your charter fee.

Depending how much time you have, we can take you to Point Cook, Brighton, Sandringham, Half Moon Bay, Beaumaris Bay, St Kilda, Wyndham Harbour or even Geelong. In most cases, people who fear becoming seasick find that the movement of the boat is not so bad and is not sufficient to induce a motion sickness reaction. Typically, we do not operate in conditions that are likely to induce seasickness. Some participants take travel sickness medication a couple of hours prior to their charter.
